A DNA profile is the unique identification of a person. It may also be used as a basis for the identification of the person's biological relations. Once a person's DNA profile is generated it is normally placed in safe storage for possible future use, often in conjunction with the person's will. Applications of the profile include identification of rightful heirs, through DNA relationship testing based on the person's DNA profile, or identification of the person's remains, for example in cases of accidental death, kidnapping, etc.
Our DNA profiles are analysed with state-of-the-art genetic identification system using 16 different genetic markers. The results are highly accurate and reliable, and are identical to those used in Forensic applications for identification purposes. Results are available within 5 working days after arrival of the samples at our laboratory.
We will send you a report detailing your unique 16 marker profile. It is recommended that the results are notarized and stored in a secure location or deposited with your legal advisor.
easyDNA will submit a copy of the results to the sampler or the person submitting the test. Additional copies of the report may be requested at any time for an additional fee.
A DNA Profile from easyDNA costs SEK1600 for a one-person test and SEK2600 for a two-person test. The cost for additional profiles is SEK900 per person. Payments are accepted by credit card.
Our Express Service Option allows your DNA samples to be processed within 48 Hours from receipt of samples at our laboratory. For the additional service express fee you will have your results emailed to you within 48 Hours. This service is offered to all DNA tests including Relationship Testing. This service is not applicable to non-standard samples such as hair, clothing and cigarette butts.
